The company reported that some of its employees were also subpoenaed to testify before a federal grand jury in St. Louis concerning the pricing of F-15 jet-fighter contracts. Gerald Meyer, vice president of McDonnell, said the company is not sure whether the government is inquiring into subcontracts signed in building the jet fighter or foreign military-sales contracts. He said the managers who must testify are middle managers. “No members of senior management have been subpoenaed,” Meyer said.
