Boeing submitted a bid for De Havilland Aircraft.
The firm is being sold by a Canadian government-backed holding company. “It looks like a good company, and they do good work,” Jim Boynton of Boeing said. Canada Development Investment Corp. has received at least one other bid for De Havilland, which produces airliners and military transports.
