Control Data omitted its quarterly dividend.
The embattled Minneapolis computer company said the action was deemed “prudent in view of the losses currently being incurred as well as a need to conserve cash.” Control Data said it hopes to restore a dividend “in due course.” The company lost a record $255.6 million in the quarter ended Sept. 30.
