2nd-Quarter Earnings Fall 68% for Bishop Graphics
Bishop Graphics said its earnings fell 68%, to $41,000, or 2 cents a share, in the second quarter ended March 31 from the corresponding period a year earlier. Sales dropped 5%, to $3.4 million.
The Westlake Village-based company, which makes supplies for designers of printed circuit boards, blamed the slowdown in the electronics and computer businesses.
For the first six months of the fiscal year, the company’s earnings fell 75%, to $65,000, or 3 cents a share. Sales were off 6%, to $6.4 million.
