Standard Logic Income Falls 57% in 2nd Quarter
Standard Logic Inc., a Corona computer systems manufacturer, said Thursday that its net income for the second fiscal quarter, ended May 2, fell to $48,067, a 57.7% drop from the $113,590 net income posted in last year’s second quarter. Net sales for the quarter were down 19% to $1.3 million, from $1.6 million.
In the first six months, the company reported, net income rose 71.6% to $383,605, from $223,564 for the first six months in fiscal 1985. Income for this year’s first six months includes a $200,000 pretax gain on the sale of a building in the first quarter. Net sales in the period were down 26% to $2.5 million from $3.4 million.
