Mountain lions:

The mountain lion attacks at Caspers Park are regrettable, but closing the park completely is not the answer. Yellowstone Park is not closed because of bear attacks.

Actually, the greatest risk in visiting Caspers Park is driving there on Ortega Highway, one of the two most dangerous roads in the state. No one ever thinks of closing it.
