Typo Torment

Joe Applegate (“Typo Casting, Nov. 23), you are not alone. My wife and I often spot typographical and grammatical errors and, unfortunately, find them more prevalent every day. The most amazing varieties appear on signs. For several months, along Washington Boulevard, you could see two official Culver City signs, on the same pole, alternately naming the cross street “Jasmine” and “Jasamine.” Even today, there are four signs on the same corner of Airport Boulevard referring to “111st Street.” The list goes on and on.
