Steinberg boosted his stake in Tiger International.
Reliance Financial Services, a firm controlled by New York investor Saul P. Steinberg, paid about $4.5 million for 499,200 shares in Tiger International, the Los Angeles parent of the Flying Tiger air cargo line. The purchases mean Steinberg and related interests now control 19.2% of Tiger’s shares.
