Indian Bones Found: A jogger in a residential area ran across bones Thursday morning that authorities have tentatively described as “old Indian bones.” Lt. Richard J. Olson of the Sheriff’s Department said the bones were collected and taken to the county coroner’s office, where they will be examined and then turned over to the Los Angeles office of the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The bones were found near Los Alisos Boulevard and Cordova Road.
