Norman M. Coulson has been elected chairman of the California League of Savings Institutions, the state trade association representing California’s 210 savings and loans and savings banks. Coulson, 54, is president and chief executive of Glendale Federal Savings & Loan Assn. He is also vice chairman, president and chief executive of Glendale Federal’s parent, GlenFed Inc.
Patrick H. Price, president and chief executive of San Francisco Federal Savings & Loan, was elected vice chairman of the league. Francis W. Witt of Century Federal in Pasadena was elected to a three-year term as treasurer of the trade group. Witt succeeds David Rosenthal of Columbia Savings, Beverly Hills.
