Trans World Airlines Chairman Carl C. Icahn said he boosted his stake in TWA to 74.9%. Icahn, who last week withdrew a plan to take the airline private, said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that he now holds 22,856,238 shares, including 651,400 he purchased from Oct. 22 to Oct. 27 for prices ranging between $16.75 and $19.75.
