The Dodgers purchased the contracts of five players from their Albuquerque farm club of the Pacific Coast League. They are pitchers William Brennan, Mike Hartley and Ramon Martinez, and infielders Craig Shipley and Juan Bell. The Dodgers waived pitcher Bill Krueger and catcher Orlando Mercado.
