David R. Preston, 47, president of the Gillette safety razor division, has been named president of the Gillette North Atlantic personal care group effective Jan. 1. Gillette North Atlantic, which will include the blade and razor, personal care and stationery products business in North America and Europe, is one of two new Gillette operating units. The personal care group will be based in Boston.
