Deere & Co. reported a loss of $99 million for the fiscal year, compared to a loss of $299 million in 1986. The company posted a profit of $32.6 million in the fourth quarter, a turnaround from a loss of $139.7 million a year ago. The Moline, Ill., farm equipment maker credited improved results to higher sales and production. Revenue was up 17% to $4.1 billion.
