Lorimar Telepictures Corp. reported a loss of $86.8 million for fiscal 1988, compared to a loss of $58.6 million a year ago. Revenue totaled $677.7 million, up 18% from 1987. The Culver City entertainment company attributed the results to $49 million in writedowns from its motion picture division and $22 million in reserves taken in the home video division.
