Mary L. Schapiro Nominated for SEC
President Reagan has nominated Mary L. Schapiro to the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Schapiro, a resident of Washington, would serve out the term of Aulana L. Peters, who has returned to the law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. The term expires on June 5, 1989. Since 1984, Schapiro, 33, has been general counsel and vice president of the Futures Industry Assn.
