A federal appeals court stalled the $2.6-billion hostile takeover of Polaroid Corp. by Shamrock Holdings Inc., ordering the Disney family investment group to make corrective disclosures about its offer. Shamrock said it would comply promptly and seek to have the court order lifted so it can pursue its offer to acquire the instant film company. The court sought clarification of the applicability of federal margin regulations to the offer.
