The men and women serving the country will get a good dose of country . . . music that is. The Marlboro Country Music tour is sponsoring three concerts on U.S. military bases, starting Memorial Day (May 29) with the group Alabama and new country star Kathy Mattea at Camp Pendelton in Oceanside. Other shows will be held June 3 at Ft. Sill in Lawton, Okla. and June 4 at Ft. Carson in Colorado Springs, Colo. Proceeds from the Pendleton concert will benefit the base’s Morale, Welfare and Recreation Fund.
