Airline Orders Planes: WestAir, California’s largest regional airline, said it has signed an agreement to lease 37 foreign aircraft to modernize its fleet. The $200-million package includes the lease of 15 British Aerospace Jetstream 31s and 22 Jetstream Super 31s. It also includes options on an additional 15 Jetstream Super 31s. Fresno-based WestAir Holding Inc.’s airlines serve 43 cities in seven Western states using both jet and jet-prop aircraft.
