Steven J. Ford was named vice president of forward planning and land acquisition for Costain Homes, Newport Beach. He joined the home builder earlier this year as general manager in charge of the company’s golf course community in west Riverside County. In addition to overseeing that project, Ford’s responsibilities will include sales and acquisition of land, engineering and feasibility studies, governmental agency processing and product development. Previously, he was vice president for Inland Empire projects for Great American Development Co. of San Diego.
