2 Wounded in Brinks Shooting
Police Sunday said a dispute between Brink’s armored car service employees led to two being shot and slightly wounded.
Raymond Garcia, 45, was being held in the San Diego County Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, a police spokesman said.
Garcia reportedly fired two shots from his .38-caliber pistol at co-workers. One shot hit Paulann Hepburn, 38, his former girlfriend, in the leg. The other shot grazed the forehead of Larry Gnepper, 43.
The incident took place at the Brink’s offices in the 4500 block of Federal Avenue shortly before 3 p.m. Police said the incident was caused by a domestic dispute between Garcia and Hepburn said.
