Chase Manhattan Agrees to Sell Unit: It said it expects to earn $100 million on the proposed sale of its asset management subsidiary, Chase Investors Management Corp., to Union Bank of Switzerland. Chase Investors handles more than $30 billion in public and private pension plans as well as financial assets of corporations, governments, foundations and endowments. The sale is subject to regulatory approval. Neither party disclosed the actual purchase price.
