Polly Peck Chairman Faces More Charges: Asil Nadir, chairman of Polly Peck International, has been accused of stealing $224 million more from his company than he was originally charged with. Britain’s Serious Fraud Office, which has been investigating Nadir for nearly a year, filed 58 additional charges against him. Nadir, 50, was charged in December with 18 counts of theft and false accounting involving $43 million. Polly Peck, a food, leisure and electronics conglomerate, has been in the hands of court-appointed administrators since October, 1990.
