Rep. Morrison (R-Wash.) Will Run for Governor

WASHINGTON — Rep. Sid Morrison (R-Wash.) said Monday he would run for governor of Washington state in 1992 to replace retiring Democratic Gov. Booth Gardner.
The six-term congressman, 58, said he has formally filed as a candidate with the state Public Disclosure Commission and would make a formal announcement of his candidacy later this year.
