COFFEE POLITICS: Irvine-based Taco Bell might make a coffee switch in the name of human rights. Taco Bell is working with food giant Procter & Gamble to see if it can find a coffee that tastes like P&G;’s Folgers, but doesn’t use beans from El Salvador. . . . Spokesman Elliot Bloom says the chain has received a few letters complaining about alleged human rights abuses in the Central American nation. “We care about human rights throughout the world,” Bloom says.
