LAGUNA TOKYO: Now that Japanese entrepreneur Kaneyoshi Kawamoto, above, has completed an $18-million renovation of the 500-bed Sheraton Anaheim he bought in 1990, he wants a second county hotel. . . . He has a city in mind: Kawamoto is convinced that Laguna Beach is the city “many young Japanese will see and like it.” The 70-bed Inn at Laguna is already owned by a Japanese company.
