Aura Systems’ Auditors Quit: The El Segundo-based research concern said the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche withdrew over “disagreements over certain accounting matters.” The company’s stock plunged $1.625 to $3.50 on the NASDAQ on Friday, with 1.75 million shares changing hands. Aura President Harry Kurtzman declined to explain the disagreement. Deloitte also declined comment. On June 1, Aura said its financial statements for the year ended Feb. 29 were being delayed because Deloitte needed more time.
