3 Defense Firms Seek Overseas Markets: Litton Industries Inc. said it has joined Raytheon Co. and Tracor Inc. in a plan to package the three defense companies’ aircraft electronics products and market them abroad. The three are hoping to tap foreign markets to offset shrinking U.S. defense dollars. Litton officials declined to estimate the size of the market they expect the alliance to target, but said virtually all tactical aircraft could be candidates for the system.
