UTC Announces $333-Million Loss: The fourth-quarter loss posted by United Technologies Corp. translates to a per-share deficit of $2.77. That result compared to a loss of $1.25 billion, or $10.33 per share, during the fourth quarter of 1991, when the company took restructuring and other charges of $1.53 billion. Revenue remained flat at $5.8 billion. UTC took a one-time charge of $701 million in the fourth quarter of 1992 against its power, flight systems and general corporate expenses. The Hartford, Conn.-based aerospace conglomerate said the loss will force it to accelerate the restructuring of its Pratt & Whitney jet engine division and cut 10,600 jobs by the end of 1994.
