Yields on 2-Year Treasury Notes Plummet: The drop at Tuesday’s auction resulted in the lowest level since October. The high yield was 4.11%, down from 4.28% at the last auction Dec. 21. It was the lowest rate since two-year notes sold for 3.94% on Oct. 26. The notes will carry a coupon interest rate of 4%, with each $10,000 in face value selling for $9,979.10. A total of $17.04 billion in notes were sold out of bids totaling $48.62 billion.
