Saba Petroleum Co.: The small independent oil producer is moving to increase its presence in Oklahoma.
The Irvine-based company announced Tuesday that it is purchasing several oil wells and gas properties for $11 million. Company spokesman Husai Rokerya would not identify the seller. The properties Saba has agreed to purchase are now producing 800 barrels of crude oil a day and 750 million cubic feet of natural gas daily, the company said.
