Calnetics Corp., a Chatsworth maker of plastic components, posted a profit of $169,000 for the first fiscal quarter that ended Sept. 30, up 56% from $108,000 the same period the previous year. The profit was on record sales of $6.65 million, up 69% from $3.94 million the previous year.
