Nutrition Activist Takes on Milk Processors: Omaha multimillionaire Phil Sokolof takes on the dairy industry in newspaper advertisements scheduled to run today in The Times and other papers around the country. Sokolof’s ads encourage consumption of skim milk over whole milk and parody an industry-sponsored campaign depicting movie stars with milk mustaches. The National Fluid Milk Processors called Sokolof’s upcoming ads misleading. Sokolof refused comment. Several years ago, Sokolof forced Nabisco, Keebler and other snack food makers to stop using tropical oils.
