Although it is still autumn, you can preview the brightest winter constellations about 11 p.m. tonight. Orion, distinquished by his three- star belt, is rising in the southeast. He is followed by his hunting dog, which includes Sirius, the dog star, and is preceded by Taurus the bull. Gemini the twins are to the north. The almost- full moon is in Taurus.
