Eco-Business Group Seeks New Members
The Ventura County Environmental Technology Cluster, a nonprofit group that helps environmentally related businesses, is looking for new members.
The Thousand Oaks-based group--one of only two such incubators for environmental companies nationwide--will host its next meeting Jan. 17. It provides cheap office space, free access to the Internet and communications equipment for start-up businesses. Tenants can stay for up to two years.
The meeting will be from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the cluster, 241 Lombard St. Members of the Pacific Agribusiness Alliance, the Small Business Development Center and the Export Small Business Development Center will be the guest speakers.
Attendance is free, and anyone interested in environmental issues affecting business is welcome.
