Helping Those Who Help Others

I appreciated the March 17 article “Conejo Free Clinic Fills Doctors’ Orders.” The Conejo Free Clinic is indeed an asset to our community and a resource for those in need of low-cost or no-cost health care.

I would like to point out that the Conejo Free Clinic is located rent-free in the Under One Roof Human Services Center at 80 E. Hillcrest Drive. Through the generosity of this “Community Conscience Under One Roof,” the Conejo Free Clinic and the 18 other nonprofit agencies in the building are provided with office space at no charge. We believe that by providing rent for these agencies in the building, we allow them to do what they do best--provide needed social services to our community.
