The Anaheim Private Industry Council plans to open an electronic version of the increasingly popular one-stop career centers. These centers are intended to which eliminate overlapping employment services and combine them with other social and educational agencies under one roof.

The new Anaheim center takes this concept a step further by combining all of these services and offering them on-line. Marge Pritchard, the center’s manager, said these services will not only help ease the tough job search but also enhance business expansion and retention.

Pritchard said employers will now have access to a readily accessible pool of screened, skilled job applicants as well as labor market information and training incentives.
