Glendale Federal to Open Offices in Central Valley
Glendale Federal Bank said it will make a big push into the agricultural banking business by opening three loan production offices in the Central Valley.
Glendale Federal said it would open offices in Bakersfield, Fresno and Visalia.
The savings and loan also said it has agreed to purchase $70 million in agricultural loan commitments in the Bakersfield area from Home Savings of America.
To oversee its new operation, Glendale Federal named Robert V. Lankford senior vice president and agribusiness banking manager. Previously, Lankford was vice president of the agribusiness department at First Interstate Bank.
