2 Businesswomen Receive Recognition

Yvonne Higginbotham has been named Woman of the Year by the Anaheim Angels chapter of the American Business Women’s Assn., and Dorothy Rose has been selected by the Lamplighters chapter of the national organization.

Higginbotham, who was also Business Associate of the Year for 1995, is associate catering director for the Disneyland Hotel. She has been with the hotel for 13 years and is responsible for operations, supervision and training of the catering departments at both the Disneyland Hotel and Disneyland Pacific Hotel.

Rose, owner of English Rose Florist, was the chairwoman of the formation committee for the Lamplighters and recruited 17 of the chapter’s initial members.
