UPS Orders $10 Million in Printers From Eltron
Eltron International in Simi Valley, which manufactures thermal label and plastic card printers, said it has received an order valued at more than $10 million to provide its LP 2443 direct thermal label printers to United Parcel Service.
The order is part of Eltron’s backlog of approximately $20 million. The Eltron printers will be used with the UPS OnLine Professional, UPS OnLine Office and UPS OnLine TeleShip products.
“This order reflects the continuing strong relationship between Eltron and UPS,” said Donald K. Skinner, Eltron chairman and chief executive officer.
Eltron’s products are used by the health care, retail, manufacturing, automotive, package delivery, financial services and securities industries. The company has corporate headquarters in Simi Valley and additional facilities throughout the United States, Europe and the Far East.
