A Different SNAP
It has the same snap, just a different look. Snapware, one of the leading manufacturers of storage containers for dry food, has added some designs and features to its line. ANd just like that, Snapware, a division of Fullerton-based Flotool, is moving out of the kitchen and into other rooms that need organization, such as the bathroom, the home office and the kids’ playroom.
Among the latest containers are the teardrop canisters which have an extra-wide mouth for easy scooping and a thumb-and-finger grove for easy handling. These jars come in three sizes, from 45 to 100 ounces, and cost $6 to $8.
The Brava canister (three sizes, from 60 to 110 ounces, about $6-$9) has the same features as the teardrop, plus the lid has a built-in coffee scoop.
Square spice jars (two sizes, 8 and 10 ounces, about $2 to $4) feature removable stainless-steel shaker inserts and are big enough to house whole spices and herbs.
Snapware products are sold in major supermarkets and department and discount stores throughout Orange County.

Bond Issue
Titanium 5 epoxy fills in the gaps--or any cracks for that matter--in any metal. And it does so in a jiffy.
Once it is fully cured, Titanium 5 can handle up to 2,500 pounds per square inch and can be drilled, cut, sanded and painted.
The epoxy allows a five-minute working time and begins to harden in 10 minutes. It sets in one hour and is at full strength in four to eight hours.
The epoxy (about $4.50) comes with mixing components and is easily dispensed with its built-in plunger.
