Health Care Property Buys Buildings, Clinics
Newport Beach-based Health Care Property Investors Inc., stepping up its expansion into the not-for-profit health care market, said Monday it has acquired several medical office buildings, outpatient centers and clinics for $93 million.
The company, a real estate investment trust, acquired 13 medical office buildings and outpatient centers valued at $68 million in Indianapolis. The are approximately 95% occupied, the company said. About half of the space is leased by Clarian Health Partners, the largest health care provider in Indiana.
In a separate transaction, the company acquired for $25 million the 100,000-square-foot Mercy Medical Clinic and 500-car parking garage in Sacramento.
