2 Receive Awards for Innovative Transactions
The Building Owners and Managers Assn. of Greater Los Angeles presented a Summit Award to A. Martin Morgenstern, national managing director of Cushman Investment Services, for Most Ingenious Investment Transaction.
Morgenstern received the award in connection with Landmark Square, a Long Beach office tower that was sold to developer TrizecHahn Corp. for $86 million.
BOMA presented the award last week at its third annual Real Estate Summit, a conference and exhibition in downtown Los Angeles.
In addition, BOMA, a 1,400-member trade association representing office building managers and owners, presented the award for Most Ingenious Lease Transaction to Jim Travers for a 20th Century Industries Inc. deal.
The Summit Awards were created to recognize innovation and creativity in commercial real estate transactions in Los Angeles.
