Luther Medical Products Inc.: The Tustin designer and manufacturer of catheter systems reported a net loss of $364,765, or 11 cents a share, for its fiscal second quarter, compared with a loss of $400,192, or 13 cents a share, for last year’s second quarter. Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 rose 17% to $1.4 million from $1.2 million. The first half net loss totaled $340,090, or 10 cents a share, which included a charge of $370,000 for severance costs and professional service fees. The net loss for the first six months of the prior year was $630,630, or 20 cents a share. Revenue increased 21% to $2.9 million from $2.4 million.
