Business Council to Hear of Giving’s Gains
Giving is receiving, even in the business world.
That is what the Latino Business Council hopes to show members at a meeting Thursday on how community involvement helps businesses as well as those in need.
The featured speaker will be Frank Dominguez, director of the United Way of Orange County’s west region office.
Members of the council, which is an arm of the Chamber of Commerce, include business owners, educators, religious leaders and social services providers.
The council draws members from several ethnic backgrounds in addition to Latinos.
This month’s gathering is at 8 a.m. in Avila’s El Ranchito Restaurant, 2101 Placentia Ave.
Information: (714) 474-7755.
