Flamemaster Reports 58% Increase in Net Income
Flamemaster Corp. reported a 58% jump in its second-quarter net income on a 16% rise in sales.
For the quarter that ended March 31, Flamemaster reported a profit of $172,858, compared with a profit of $109,535 a year earlier. Revenues in the second quarter rose to $1 million, up from $875,143.
Over its six-month period, Flamemaster posted a 92% jump in net income, while revenues climbed 20%. The company’s profits in the six-month period climbed to $262,231, up from $136,196 last year. Revenues in the latest six months climbed to $1.9 million, up from $1.6 million.
Flamemaster attributed its rapid growth to new customers and the introduction of new products. Flamemaster, based in Sun Valley, is a maker of specialty chemicals and adhesives.
