Wanted: First-Time Buyers With Tales to Tell
Are you a recent first-time home buyer with a story to tell? Is it Stephen King horror or Danielle Steel romance?
Whatever your experience, we’d like to hear about it for our annual “Tales From the Trenches” issue, which records the triumphs and tribulations of first-time home buying in the hope of helping the next class of first-timers.
Make your tale a teaching tool. Do’s and don’ts are great; so are checklists. Tell us the lessons you learned and what you’d do differently. And don’t be shy about your goofs; someone else can learn from them.
Send your “Tale” to Dick Barnes, Real Estate Editor, Los Angeles Times, Times Mirror Square, Los Angeles, CA 90053. Or fax it to (213) 237-4712. Or e-mail it to Real.Estate@LATimes.com. Please include your address and telephone number. And if you want to send a picture, please make it a copy.
