4 County Firms Named to Fast 500 Listing
Four Ventura County companies are on the fourth annual Technology Fast 500 listing announced by Deloitte & Touche LLP.
The list is composed of the fastest-growing technology companies in the United States, based on percentage growth in revenue over the period of 1993 to 1997.
There were 131 California-based companies on the list.
To qualify for the Fast 500, entrants must have had revenues of at least $50,000 in 1993 and at least $1 million in 1997. They must be a U. S.-headquartered company developing and / or providing technology products or services.
Ventura County companies that made the list are EOS Corp. of Camarillo, which had 1,772% revenue growth, making it No. 175; Eltron International of Simi Valley, 1,515% revenue growth, No. 209; Micro Pulse of Camarillo, 1,414% revenue growth, No. 234, and ACT Networks of Camarillo, 692% growth, No. 410.
