Soap Opera Fair Will Feature Series Stars
Celebrities from West Coast-based soap operas including “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Days of Our Lives,” “General Hospital,” “Port Charles,” “Sunset Beach” and “The Young and the Restless” will appear at the second annual Soap Opera Fair and Family Carnival, taking place Saturday at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, 5220 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood.
Sponsored by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ Activities Committee and TV Cares, the noon-4 p.m. event will feature photos with the stars, autograph signing, a silent auction of memorabilia, a trivia game booth and family entertainment including face painting, mimes, magicians and psychic readings.
Participants from the children’s shows “Rugrats,” “Cousin Skeeter” and “The Journey of Allen Strange” are also scheduled.
Tickets are $5; children under 12 will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
