COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE : Leading Apartment Executive to Deliver Conference Address
Douglas Crocker II, who heads the nation’s largest publicly owned apartment company, will deliver the keynote speech at the Annual Apartment Outlook conference on Sept. 29.
The event, organized by the Real Estate Conference Group, will feature more than 40 speakers and cover a broad range of topics, including apartment financing and development, real estate technology, apartments in downtown Los Angeles and economics.
Crocker, president and chief executive of Equity Residential Properties Trust, is scheduled to discuss emerging industry trends during his presentation at the daylong conference at the Century Plaza Hotel & Tower in Century City.
Other featured speakers include W. Dean Henry, president of apartment developer Legacy Partners; Sally Jewell, executive vice president of Washington Mutual; Michael Malone, managing director of real estate at Banc of America Securities; Heidi McKibben, vice president of Fannie Mae; and Margaret Sullivan, Southern California representative for the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
